I’m thrilled to share that four of my images were recently recognised by Fearless Photographers in their professional family photography competition! And all four feature my favourite tiny muse: my son.
If you’ve ever met him, you’ll know that he’s basically powered by some mysterious, inexhaustible internal battery. He is strong-willed, bold, and constantly in motion — the kind of kid who wakes up ready to conquer a mountain… or at least the living room furniture. Parenting him is a daily cardio workout I never signed up for, yet here we are. 😅
He challenges me, surprises me, and keeps me endlessly on my toes. (Sometimes literally. Other times dangling from a climbing frame wondering how we got there.) But as exhausting as his energy can be, it’s also incredibly inspiring. His enthusiasm for life is contagious — a constant reminder to embrace joy, curiosity, and the occasional burst of chaos.
And that makes him the most amazing photographic subject. He doesn’t pose — he lives, loudly and proudly. My camera simply tries to keep up with the speed of his childhood.
So here’s to this positive little powerhouse: may he never lose that spark. And may I always have enough snacks, coffee, and shutter speed to keep capturing it. 💥📸
